Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on 19 December, 2022 until 17:00 on 23 December, 2022, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting for any purpose on either side of Spital, Aberdeen, between the south boundary of 47 Spital to the north boundary of 73 Spital. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during repair works for Openreach. During this time, there will be temporary traffic signals in operation.
