On 20/3/23 the Council made Orders under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 for the purpose of permitting various Parades and Events on the following dates and locations. The Orders will temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic and all parking and loading on both sides of the following lengths of road: (a) 26/3/23 – Tackle Litter Group – C406 South Kinclaven (C419 junction to the B9099 junctions); (b) 7/5/23 - Comrie Coronation Street Party– B827 Dalginross (Camp Road to Strowan Road, Comrie); (c) 10/6/23 - Perth Mela Parade - Shore Road – Tay Street – Charlotte Street – Atholl Street – Rose Terrace, Perth; (d) 10/6/23 - Longforgan Gala Day - Main Street, Longforgan; (e) 24/6/23 - Armed Forces Day – St John Street, Perth; (f) 15/7/23 - Blairgowrie Fire Station Charity Day – West George Street, Blairgowrie; (g) 6/8/23 - City of Perth Salute - Shore Road – Tay Street – Charlotte Street – Atholl Street – Rose Terrace, Perth; (h) 20/8/23 - Crieff Highland Gathering - Duchlage Road - King Street – Union Terrace – Commissioner Street – B8062 Broich Road, Crieff; (i) 12/11/23 – Blair Atholl Remembrance Parade - B8079 Main Road, Blair Atholl; and (j) 9/12/23 - Birnam and Dunkeld Santa Parade - Rolling Road closure on Perth Road, Birnam - A923 – Bridge Street – Atholl Street, Dunkeld. Alternative routes:- (a) C419 - B9099. All other closures will have local diversions in place. Pedestrian thoroughfare and emergency access will be maintained.
