THE SCOTTISH BORDERS COUNCIL

(SUPREME COURT DECISION RALLY - SELKIRK)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2022

 

The Scottish Borders Council are making the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, with the consent of Scottish Ministers under Section 16B(6)(b) of the said Act. The Order, which has a maximum duration of one day, will come into force at 18:30 on 23 November 2022 and is expected to remain in effect until 19:00. The Order is required to facilitate the holding of a relevant event, being the Supreme Court Decision Rally – Selkirk.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the following streets in Selkirk town centre:

  1. Market Place from Humes Close to Kirk Wynd; and
  2. Kirk Wynd from Market Place tp Kirk o’ Forest.

These closures will come into effect only at such times as instructed by a Police Officer in uniform and/or appropriate traffic signs are displayed on the affected lengths of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained.
