Emergency Notice 2023
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, that the following Traffic Management restrictions be introduced with immediate effect for emergency Scottish Water Repairs
Road Closure – South Harbour Street, 100M From Mini round about to the junction of New bridge Street.
Period of restriction – The Notice is valid for a period of up to 21 days from the date below unless a further notice is issued under Section 15(8)(b)(ii) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The restrictions will only be in force at times when the appropriate signs are displayed. Access to properties and premises will be maintained whenever possible and emergency services and pedestrian access will not be affected.
Alternative route – will be signed via South Harbour Street > Esplanade > Pavilion Road > Alloway Place > Miller Road > Burns Statue Square > Station Bridge > Station Road > John Street > King Street
