The Stirling Council (Abercromby Drive, Chalton Road, Coneyhill Road, Bridge of Allan),(Unadopted Footway between Wellgate Drive and Pathfoot Drive, Bridge of Allan) (Temporary Footway Closure), (Abercromby Drive, Baeconcroft, Chalton Road, Claremont Driv - Stirling Archived

This Order will close the following roads:

Abercromby Drive                                  From its junction with Mine Road to its junction with Claremont Drive;

Chalton Road                                        From its junction with Abercromby Drive to its junction with Kenilworth Road;

Coneyhill Road                                      From its junction with Kenilworth Road to its junction with Henderson Street.

This Order will also close the following footway:

Unadopted footway                               From the point where it meets Wellgate Drive to the point where it meets Pathfoot Drive.                         

Alternative Route:                                  via Wellgate Drive on east footway, Kenilworth Road on north footway, Sheriffmuir Road on north footway, Pathfoot Drive (shared space road) and vice versa

The Order will also suspend the parking on:

Abercromby Drive                                  On both sides of the road, from its junction with Chalton Road to its junction with Kenilworth Road;

Beaconcroft                                          On both sides of the road from its junction with Wellgate Drive to outside No.4 and opposite No.5 Beancroft,.

Chalton Road                                        On both sides of the road, from its junction with Abercromby Drive to its junction with Kenilworth Road; and,

Claremont Drive                                    On both sides of the road from its junction with Abercromby Drive to its termination outside No 21

Coneyhill Road                                      On both sides of the road from its junction with Kenilworth Road to its junction with Henderson Street.

Henderson Street                                  From a point at the junction of Coneyhill Road to the roundabout at the access road to Stirling Roundabout.

Kenwilworth Road                                 On both sides of the road from its junction with Coneyhill Road to its junction with Sheriffmuir Road.

Pathfoot Avenue                                    On both sides of the road for its entire length.

Pathfoot Drive                                       On both sides of the road for its entire length.

The Order will also prohibit the left hand turn:

Henderson Street                                  From Henderson Street to Kenilworth Road.

The Order will also close the cycle lane:

Henderson Street / Airthrey Road           On the north-east kerbline from the south kerbline at the junction of Coneyhill Road, south-east for a distance of 337 metres or thereby; and

                                                            On the south-west kerbline from a point opposite the south kerbline of Coneyhill Road, south-east for a distance of 424 metres or thereby from 3-10-22 until 23-12-22 to facilitate SGN works.

                                                            Emergency service access will be maintained.

Alternative Routes:                                Abercromby Drive – via Mine Road, Chalton Road, Abercromby Drive and vice versa

                                                            Chalton Road – via Kenilworth Road, Abercromby Drive and vice versa

                                                            Coneyhill Road – via Kenilworth Road, (A9) Henderson Street

                                                            NB – Rolling works, signing on-street will advise what section of parking is suspended and what road is closed at any time.
