Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 3 June 2024, until 17:00 on 7 June 2024, is to close Gairsay Road, Aberdeen, from the Chap construction site access to the access road at the electricity sub-station. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of road. An alternative route is available via Eday Drive, Eday Road, and Stronsay Drive. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during carriageway remedial works.
