THE EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE COUNCIL
(SPRINGFIELD SQUARE, BISHOPBRIGGS) - (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
On the 30 April 2024 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so) on Springfield Square, Bishopbriggs between its junction with Callieburn Road and its termination at the existing turning head facility, by reason of works being executed on or near this road.
This Order will operate from 08.00 hours on Sunday, 12 May until 18.00 hours on Sunday, 19 May 2024.
Alternative Route
The alternative routes will be by way of Callieburn Road, Springfield Road, Muir Street, Emerson Road, Emerson Road West, Lee Crescent, Crowhill Road, the B812 Auchinairn Road and Beech Road, and these routes will be sign posted.
