Temporary No Waiting Order - Scottish Borders

(PALMA PLACE, MELROSE)

(TEMPORARY NO WAITING) ORDER 2024

The Scottish Borders Council (Palma Place, Melrose) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 10 May 2024 and is expected to remain in effect until 22:00 on 1 June 2024 as detailed below. The Order is required to permit access for deliveries to the Corn Exchange, Melrose.

When the Order comes into effect, no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on the north side only of Palma Place, Melrose from Dingleton Road westwards for 16 metres as follows:

1. from 08:00 on 10 May to 22:00 on 11 May 2024;
2. from 08:00 on 25 May to 22:00 on 28 May 2024; and
3. from 08:00 on 30 May to 22:00 on 1 June 2024.
