Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Roslin Terrace, Aberdeen, from its junction with King Street to the car park entrance at the side of Number 1 Roslin Terrace from 09:00 on 13th December, 2022, until 17:00 on 14th December, 2022. An alternative route is available via Park Road, Roslin Street and Urquhart Road. The one-way system on Roslin Terrace, Aberdeen, between its junctions with King Street and Park Street will be suspended to allow egress from properties There will be a prohibition of right turns from Roslin Terrace, Aberdeen on to Park Street
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the same stretch of road
Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
There will also be a temporary one-way restriction on Park Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Frederick Street and Roslin Place from 09:00 on 15th December, 2022, until 17:00 on 16th December, 2022. The permitted direction of travel will be northbound. An alternative route for southbound vehicles is available via Urquhart Road, King Street, East North Street and Justice Port Roundabout
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the same stretch of road
There will also be a temporary 20mph speed restriction imposed on Park Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Frederick Street and Roslin Place from 09:00 on 15th December, 2022, until 17:00 on 16th December, 2022
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones
The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
