Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets;
Bieldside Station Road, Aberdeen, from its junction with North Deeside Road to the car park entrance at the rear of The Bieldside Inn from 09:00 on 29th March, 2023, until 17:00 on 30th March, 2023. An alternative route is available via North Deeside Road, Golf Road and Marchbank Road; Quarry Road, Cults, Aberdeen, from its junction with North Deeside Road to the side entrance for 430 North Deeside Road from 09:00 on 1st April, 2023, until 17:00 on 2nd April, 2023. An alternative route is available via North Deeside Road, Cairn Road and Manse Road; Golf Road, Bieldside, Aberdeen, from its junctions with North Deeside Road to the boundary between number 12 Marchbank Road and 63 North Deeside Road from 09:00 on 3rd April, 2023, until 17:00 on 4th April, 2023. An alternative route is available via North Deeside Road, Bieldside Station Road and Marchbank Road; Cairn Road, Bieldside, Aberdeen, from its junction with Manse Road to the boundary between number 14 and 16 Cairn Road from 09:00 on 3rd April, 2023, until 17:00 on 4th April, 2023. An alternative route is available via Baillieswells Road and North Deeside Road; Baillieswells Crescent, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 14 and 16 Baillieswells Crescent to the boundary between number 20 and 22 Baillieswells Crescent from 09:00 on 3rd April, 2023, until 17:00 on 4th April, 2023. An alternative route is available via Baillieswells Road; Bieldside Station Road, Aberdeen, from its junction with Marchbank Road to the car park entrance at the rear of The Bieldside Inn from 09:00 on 5th April, 2023, until 17:00 on 6th April, 2023. An alternative route is available via North Deeside Road, Golf Road and Marchbank Road; Manse Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Cairn Road and Cairn Crescent. from 09:00 on 5th April, 2023, until 17:00 on 6th April, 2023. An alternative route is available via Cairn Road, Baillieswells Road, Cairnlee Terrace, Cairnlee Avenue East and Cairn Crescent; North Deeside Road, loop road Aberdeen, from its eastern junction with North Deeside Road to lighting column number 126A from 09:00 on 5th April, 2023, until 17:00 on 6th April, 2023. An alternative route is available via North Deeside Road and its western junction with North Deeside Road; Marchbank Road, Aberdeen, from its junction with Bieldside Station Road the boundary between number 6 Marchbank Road and The Bieldside Inn from 09:00 on 10th April, 2023, until 17:00 on 11th April, 2023. An alternative route is available via Bieldside Station Road, North Deeside Road and Golf Road.
Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Fri; Baillieswells Crescent, Baillieswells Drive, Baillieswells Place, Baillieswells Road, Baillieswells Terrace, Bieldside Station Road, Cairn Road, Bieldside, Golf Road, Bieldside, Gowanbrae Road, Marchbank Road, North Deeside Road, Bieldside, Old Ferry Road, Prospecthill Road, Quarry Road, Cults, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 20th March, 2023, until 17:00 on 30th April, 2023.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time. Aberdeen City Council maintain the right to reduce this to 50m on any site should they see it as necessary to maintain public safety/access.
