Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:00 on 9 October 2023, until 17:00 on 28 April 2024, is to impose the restriction listed below. The restrictions will be implemented in phases, and advance warning signs will be positioned on street one week before each phase commences.

Craigshaw Drive, Aberdeen, will be made one-way during the phases listed below. The permitted direction of travel will be south and eastbound only. The will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretches of road listed below. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. An alternative route is available via Wellington Road and Abbotswell Road.

Phase 1; for approximately three weeks, Craigshaw Drive will be one-way from its junction with Abbotswell Road to its junction with Craigshaw Place. Craigshaw Road will be closed at its junction with Craigshaw Drive.

Phase 2; for approximately two weeks, Craigshaw Drive, will be one-way from its junction with Abbotswell Road to its south-eastern junction with Craigshaw Crescent. Craigshaw Crescent will be closed at its north-western junction with Craigshaw Drive.

Phase 3; for approximately two weeks, Craigshaw Drive will be one-way from its junction with Craigshaw Place to its south-eastern junction with Craigshaw Crescent. Craigshaw Crescent will be closed at its north-western junction with Craigshaw Drive.

Phase 4; for approximately four weeks, Craigshaw Drive will be one-way from its junction with Craigshaw Street to its junction with Wellington Road. Craigshaw Crescent will be closed at its south-eastern junction with Craigshaw Drive.

Phase 5; for approximately four weeks, Craigshaw Drive will be one-way from its junction with Abbotswell Road to the access to West Tullos Roads Depot. Craigshaw Road will be closed at its junction with Craigshaw Drive, and Craigshaw Crescent will be closed at its north-western junction with Craigshaw Drive.

Phase 6; for approximately two weeks, Craigshaw Drive will be one-way from its junction with Craigshaw Place to the access to West Tullos Roads Depot. Craigshaw Crescent will be closed at its north-western junction with Craigshaw Drive.

Phase 7; for approximately two weeks, Craigshaw Drive will be one-way from its junction with Wellington Road. Craigshaw Crescent will be closed at both its junctions with Craigshaw Drive, but not at the same time.

Phase 8; for approximately three weeks, Craigshaw Drive will be one-way from its junction with Craigshaw Street to its junction with Wellington Road. Craigshaw Crescent will be closed at its south-eastern junction with Craigshaw Drive.

Phase 9; for approximately one week, Abbotswell Road will be closed from its junction with West Tullos Road to the access to Specialist Cars Alpine. An alternative route is available via Wellington Road and West Tullos Road.

Phase 10; for approximately two weeks, Abbotswell Road will be one-way from its junction with West Tullos Road to the access to Specialist Cars Alpine. The permitted direction of travel will be north-eastbound only. An alternative route is available via Wellington Road and West Tullos Road.
