On 6/1/15 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (CLAYPOTTS JUNCTION, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2015 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily (1) the left turn from Claypotts Rd (northbound) onto A92 Arbroath Rd (westbound), (2) the right turn from Claypotts Rd (northbound) onto A92 Arbroath Rd (eastbound), (3) the left turn from A92 Arbroath Rd (westbound) onto Claypotts Rd (southbound) and (4) the right turn from A92 Arbroath Rd (eastbound) onto Claypotts Rd (southbound). The Order is operative for 4 weeks from 12/1/15 for the traffic signal installation and upgrading, with a maximum duration of 18 months. Alternative routes: (a) for eastbound traffic approaching Scott Fyffe Roundabout via Strips of Craigie Rd, A930 Dundee Rd and Claypotts Rd and (2) for westbound traffic on A92 Arbroath Rd via East Balgillo Rd, Balgillo Rd and Claypotts Rd.
