(C36 Nith Bridge, New Cumnock) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

On 01/11/22 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow bridge parapet repair works to be carried out.

C36 – Nith Bridge for 30m

The Order commences on Monday 14^th November 2022 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 09:00am Monday 14th November until 17.00hrs on Friday 16^th December 2022 the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed

Vehicular access for residents/owners/occupiers within the closure will be permitted to and from their properties -this may on occasion be via the diversion route

Emergency Services access will not be affected and for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone, access will be maintained.

Alternative Route will be signed via C36, A76, B741, and C36 and vice versa
