(No. 2) Order 2015
On the 24th March 2015 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order has been promoted to ensure the safety of the general public and Scottish Power workers carrying out maintenance works on overhead power cables near Malletsheugh Road, Newton Mearns.
The Order permits the closure of Malletsheugh Road from a point approximately 140m east of its junction with Stewarton Road, eastwards for a distance of 20 metres or thereby and will be in operation from Tuesday 7th April to Friday 8th May 2015 or on completion of the works if sooner.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure will be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time.
Pedestrian and cycle access will be unaffected.

Stewarton Road-Aurs Road-Barrhead Road-Ayr Road- Malletsheugh Road and vice-versa.
