Midlothian Council hereby give notice under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, that for a temporary period, to facilitate resurfacing, the B704, High Street/Hillhead will be closed for 2 days from 9.00am to 4.00pm daily from the north side of the entrance to the Health Centre to its junction with Viewpark Gardens from Wednesday 30 to Thursday 31 July 2014 inclusive.
Alternative routes for general vehicular traffic will be clearly sign posted. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
There will be no Bus Service on the High Street and Hillhead, Bonnyrigg during these periods and the buses will be re-routed.
This may be via the A768, Melville Dykes Road, the A7 and the A6094, Eskbank Road into Bonnyrigg, however information regarding the routes will be posted on Lothian Buses website and at the bus stops.
