Temporary Speed Limit - Inchbroom Road, Lossiemouth - Ext 1 - Moray

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED)

MORAY COUNCIL (INCHBROOM ROAD, LOSSIEMOUTH (FROM END OF EXISTING 30MPH SPEED LIMIT FOR 460 METRES OR THEREABOUTS IN A SOUTH EASTERLY DIRECTION) - TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (EXT NO 1) ORDER 2024

The Moray Council in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers hereby makes the following Order:-

1. This Order may be cited as "Moray Council (Inchbroom Road, Lossiemouth (from end of existing 30mph speed limit for 460 metres or thereabouts in a south easterly direction) (Ext No 1) - Temporary 30 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2024”.

    

2. The effect of this Order, which will come into operation 15/04/2024 until 01/05/2024 will be to temporarily prohibit any person from driving or causing or permitting to be driven any vehicle at a speed exceeding 30 mph on Inchbroom Road, Lossiemouth (from end of existing 30mph speed limit for 460 metres or thereabouts in a south easterly direction).

3. The temporary restriction is a reduction from national speed limit to 30mph temporary speed limit for road safety reasons during new development.
