(KELSO CHRISTMAS LIGHTS)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2022

 

The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of two days, will come into force at 18:00 on 25 November 2022 and is expected to remain in effect until 21:00 on 26 November 2022. The Order is required to facilitate the holding of a relevant event, being the Kelso Christmas Lights Switch On.

When the Order comes into effect, in Kelso town centre:

(a)   no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on Woodmarket in the two disabled bays and the electric vehicle charging point. Alternative disabled persons parking will be available on the opposite side of Woodmarket; and

(b)   the taxi rank on Horsemarket will be temporarily located in Woodmarket.
