(A698 HENDERSYDE TO EDENMOUTH, KELSO)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2023
The Scottish Borders Council (A698 Hendersyde to Edenmouth, Kelso) (Temporary Closing) Order 2023 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 7 February 2023 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of three days between the hours of 08:30 and 16:30 each day. The Order is required for patching works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the A698 from Hendersyde to Edenmouth, Kelso.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the A698, A6089, A6105, A697 and A698 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
