(VARIOUS ROADS, KELSO – SOUTH V GLASGOW)

(TEMPORARY NO WAITING) ORDER 2024

The Scottish Borders Council (Various Roads, Kelso – South v Glasgow) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 30 March 2024 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:00 and 19:00.  The Order is required in the interests of public safety due to increased traffic attending the South versus Glasgow Inter District Rugby Match.

When the Order comes into effect, in the interests of public safety, no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on the following roads in Kelso:

Bowmont Street, Croft Road, Inchmyre, Poynder Place and Inchmead Crescent.

Pedestrian access will be maintained.
