(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2024

The Scottish Borders Council (Morrison Place, Hawick) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 8 April 2024 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00. The Order is required for BT works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Morrison Place, Hawick from Myreslaw Green to Beaconsfield Terrace Lane.

The alternative route for southbound traffic is via Morrison Place, Green Lane, Beaconsfield Terrace and Myreslaw Green to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
