SCOTTISH BORDERS COUNCIL

NO WAITING NOTICE

VARIOUS ROADS, GREENLAW

In accordance with Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Scottish Borders Council will temporarily restrict waiting on both sides of the following roads in Greenlaw:

(i)      East High Street from number 35 to The Square;

(ii)      The Square from East High Street to West High Street; and

(iii)     West High Street from The Square to number 33.

The maximum duration of this Notice is 21 days and it is expected that the restriction will be in effect overnight from 18 April 2024 and is expected to remain in effect until 26 April 2024 between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 each night.

The restrictions will only come into force when appropriate traffic signs are displayed on the affected lengths of road.

The restriction is required for BT Openreach works and continues the restrictions imposed by The Scottish Borders Council (Various Roads, Greenlaw) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2024 dated 1 April 2024 and advertised in the Berwickshire News of 4 April 2024.
