(BORDERS FESTIVALS - JEDBURGH)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) NO 1 ORDER 2024
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, with the consent of Scottish Ministers under Section 16B(6)(b) of the said Act. The Order, which has a maximum duration of one day, will come into force at 19:00 on 17 May 2024 and is expected to remain in effect until 20:00. The Order is required to facilitate the holding of a relevant event, being the Jedburgh Callants Festival Declaration Night 2024.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along Abbey Place, Jedburgh from Murray’s Green Car Park to Market Place.
The alternative route for southbound traffic is via Market Place, Canongate, the A68 and Abbey Bridge End to the point of closure, for northbound traffic, the reverse of the foregoing.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
