Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:00 on 20 June, 2022, until 20:00 on 23 May, 2023, is to close Palmerston Place, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Palmerston Place and Old Ford Road. There will also be a prohibition of waiting for any purpose on either side on the same stretch of road. Also no waiting for any purpose on the east side of Palmerston Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Palmerston Place and Old Ford Road and on the east side of Old Ford Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Palmerston Road and Palmerston Place. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
During this time the existing one-way restriction on Old Ford Road, Aberdeen between its junctions with Palmerston Place and Old Ford Road shall be suspended.
The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during road improvement works by Aberdeen City Council.
