Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order is to impose a prohibition of driving on Abbotswell Drive, Aberdeen, from Provost Watt Drive to Covenanters Row. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of carriageway for the duration of the works. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Residential access will be maintained when possible and safe to do so. The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during ACC Road Maintenance works.
