Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets;
South Avenue, Aberdeen, from its junction with School Road to the entrance for Rorie Court from 09:00 on 30th March, 2023, until 17:00 on 31st March, 2023. An alternative route is available via School Road, North Deeside Road and Dunmail Avenue; Hillview Terrace, Aberdeen, from its junction with Netherby Road to the boundary between number 25 and 27 Hillview Terrace from 09:00 on 30th March, 2023, until 17:00 on 31st March, 2023. An alternative route is available via Netherby Road, Hillview Road and Quarry Road; Netherby Road, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 4 Netherby Road and 31 Hillview Road to the entrance to numbers 1-8 Netherby Apartments from 09:00 on 3rd April, 2023, until 17:00 on 4th April, 2023. An alternative route is available via North Deeside Road, Quarry Road and Hillview Road; Kirk Crescent South, Aberdeen, from its junction with Kirk Drive to the boundary between number 12 and 14 Kirk Crescent South from 09:00 on 5th April, 2023, until 17:00 on 6th April, 2023. An alternative route is available via Cults Avenue and Kirk Crescent North; Hillview Terrace, Aberdeen, from its junction with Netherby Road to the boundary between number 12 and 14 Hillview Terrace from 09:00 on 5th April, 2023, until 17:00 on 6th April, 2023. An alternative route is available via Netherby Road, Hillview Road and Hillview Drive; West Cults Road, Aberdeen, from its junction with North Deeside Road to a point 15 metres in a southerly direction from 09:00 until 17:00 on 8th April, 2023. An alternative route is available via North Deeside Road, St Devenicks Place, Deeview Road South, Park Brae and Park Road; Hillview Drive, Aberdeen, from its with Hillview Terrace to the boundary between number 3 and 5 Hillview Drive from 09:00 on 10th April, 2023, until 17:00 on 11th April, 2023. An alternative route is available via Hillview Terrace, Netherby Road and Hillview Road; Kirk Drive, Aberdeen, from its junction with Kirk Crescent North to the boundary between number 43 Kirk Crescent North and 4 Kirk Drive from 09:00 on 10th April, 2023, until 17:00 on 11th April, 2023. An alternative route is available via Kirk Brae, Kirk Terrace, Hilltop Avenue, Hilltop Road and Kirk Crescent North.
Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
There will also be a temporary prohibition of traverse on the footpath on Manor Place, Aberdeen between Manor Place & Cults Gardens from 09:00 until 17:00 on 3rd April, 2023. An alternative route is available via Manor Place, Kirk Brae, North Deeside Road, Cults Avenue and Cults Gardens.
There will also be a temporary one-way restriction on Cults Gardens, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Kirk Crescent South and Cults Avenue from 09:00 on 3rd April, 2023, until 17:00 on 4th April, 2023.The permitted direction of travel will be northbound only. An alternative route southbound vehicles is available via Kirk Crescent South and Cults Avenue.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Fri; Cults Avenue, Cults Court, Cults Gardens, Darroch Park, Hilltop Road, Hillview Drive, Hillview Road, Hillview Terrace, Kirk Crescent North, Kirk Crescent South, Kirk Drive, Netherby Road, North Deeside Road, Cults, Quarry Road, Cults, School Road, Cults, South Avenue, West Cults Road, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 30th March, 2023, until 17:00 on 10th May, 2023.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time. Aberdeen City Council maintain the right to reduce this to 50m on any site should they see it as necessary to maintain public safety/access.
