Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order, which will operate from 12:00 on 22nd April, 2023, until 07:00 on 24th April, 2023, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets;
Baillieswells Road, Aberdeen, from its junction with North Deeside Road to the entrance for St Devenicks Church. An alternative route is available via North Deeside Road and Cairn Road and also on Bieldside Station Road, Aberdeen, from its junction with North Deeside Road to the car park entrance at the rear of The Bieldside Inn. An alternative route is available via North Deeside Road, Golf Road and Marchbank Road
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
