Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order, which will operate from 22:00 in the evening until 06:00 the following morning on evenings beginning 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 April 2023, is to close Ellon Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with the B999 Tarves Road and A92 Parkway. Access to the filling station will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. An alternative route is available via the B999 Tarves Road, Denmore Road, Woodside Road, and the A92 Parkway. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during traffic signal installation, friction surface coating, and white lining works.
