Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets;
Primrosehill Avenue, Aberdeen, from its junction with Primrosehill Road to the boundary between number 18 and 20 Primrosehill Avenue from 09:00 on 24th April, 2023, until 17:00 on 25th April, 2023. An alternative route is available via Inchgarth Road and Primrosehill Road; South Avenue, Aberdeen, from the car park entrance between number 14 and 16 South Avenue to the boundary between number 22 South Avenue and the telephone exchange from 09:00 on 24th April, 2023, until 17:00 on 25th April, 2023. An alternative route is available via St Devenicks Place, North Deeside Road and Dunmail Avenue; South Avenue, Aberdeen, from its junction with St Devenicks Place to the entrance for Birchwood Lodge from 09:00 on 26th April, 2023, until 17:00 on 27th April, 2023. An alternative route is available via St Devenicks Place, North Deeside Road and Dunmail Avenue; Primrosehill Avenue, Aberdeen, from its junction with Inchgarth Road to the boundary between number 5 and 7 Primrosehill Avenue from 09:00 on 26th April, 2023, until 17:00 on 27th April, 2023. An alternative route is available via Inchgarth Road and Primrosehill Road; St Devenicks Place, Aberdeen, from its junction with North Deeside Road to the car park entrance at the rear of Sainsburys from 09:00 on 28th April, 2023, until 17:00 on 30th April, 2023. An alternative route is available via North Deeside Road, Dunmail Avenue and South Avenue; Kirk Brae, Aberdeen, from its junction with North Deeside Road to the car park entrance at the rear of number 358 North Deeside Road from 09:00 on 28th April, 2023, until 17:00 on 30th April, 2023. An alternative route is available via North Deeside Road, Abbotshall Road and Friarsfield Road; Primrosehill Road, Aberdeen, from its junction with Primrosehill Avenue to the boundary between number 12 and 14 Primrosehill Road from 09:00 on 1st May, 2023, until 17:00 on 2nd May, 2023. An alternative route is available via Inchgarth Road and Primrosehill Avenue; Primrosehill Road, Aberdeen, from its junction with Inchgarth Road to the rear of number 7 Inchgarth Road from 09:00 on 3rd May, 2023, until 17:00 on 4th May, 2023. An alternative route is available via Inchgarth Road and Primrosehill Avenue; Deeview Road South, Aberdeen, between its junctions with St Devenicks Place and Loirsbank Road, local access only from 09:00 until 20:00 on 5th May, 2023. An alternative route is available via Inchgarth Road, Westerton Road, North Deeside Road and St Devenicks Place; Kirk Drive, Aberdeen, from its junction with Kirk Brae to the rear of number 41 Kirk Brae from 09:00 on 8th May, 2023, until 17:00 on 12th May, 2023. An alternative route is available via Kirk Brae, Kirk Terrace, Hilltop Avenue, Hilltop Road and Kirk Crescent North.
Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Fri; Deeview Road South, Inchgarth Mews, Inchgarth Road, Kirk Brae, Kirk Brae Court, Kirk Drive, Kirk Terrace, Loirsbank Road, Manor Place, North Deeside Road, Primrosebank Avenue, Primrosebank Drive, Primrosehill Avenue, Primrosehill Road, South Avenue, St Devenick's Place, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 24th April, 2023, until 17:00 on 4th June, 2023.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time. Aberdeen City Council maintain the right to reduce this to 50m on any site should they see it as necessary to maintain public safety/access.
