Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on 03 April 2023, until 18:00 on 15 April 2023, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Farquhar Road, Aberdeen, from its junction with Farquhar Avenue to the start of the parking bay opposite numbers 164-166 Farquhar Road, and on Farquhar Avenue, Aberdeen, from its junction with Farquhar Brae to the entrance to the car park at numbers 147-190 Balnagask Road. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretches of road. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. An alternative route is available via Balnagask Road. There will be a prohibition of driving on Balnagask Circle, Aberdeen, from the car park access at Deeside Family Centre to the car park access between Brimmond Court and Grampian Court. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. An alternative route is available via Girdleness Road and Balnagask Road. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during heating duct installation works for Aberdeen City Council.
