Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order, which will operate from 09:00 on 15 June, 2023, until 06:00 on 16 June, 2023, is to make South Silver Street, Aberdeen, one-way, northbound, between its junctions with Diamond Lane and Golden Square. An alternative route is available via Golden Square, Crimon Place, Summer Street, Union Row and Union Street. There will also be a prohibition of waiting for any purpose on either side of South Silver Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Diamond Lane and Golden Square. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.

The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during ironworks renewal by Scottish Water.
