On 20/3/23 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (MACALPINE ROAD, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2023 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic in Macalpine Rd from Americanmuir Rd roundabout for a distance of 100m or thereby south. The Order is operative for 11 days from 20/3/23 for carriageway resurfacing and pedestrian island installation works, with a maximum duration of 18 months. Alternative route: Camperdown Rd, Strathmartine Rd, Laird St and Macalpine Rd.
