(Temporary Road Closure) Notice 2023
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will close the following lengths of road to allow Network Rail Works
Name of road - Milton View, Gatehead Level Crossing for 75 metres over crossing .
Nature and period of restriction - Road closure
This Notice commences on 02 April 2023 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 02 April 2023 at 00:01 until 02 April 2023 at 23:59.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Due to the nature of the works Emergency Services access and access for residents will be via dinersion route only, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.
Alternative route - A759 - A78 - A71 - Coursehill Mount Roundabout - A71 Hurford Road - Vice Versa .
