(Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Notice 2023
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will prohibit waiting on the following lengths of road to allow Scottish Water Ironwork Repairs.
Name & affected length of road – Loreny Drive & Caprington Avenue Kilmarnock,
No waiting restriction for 40 meters on Loreny Drive from number 7 to number1
No waiting restriction for 15 meters on Loreny Drive from number 2 to the roundabout
No waiting restriction for 55 meters both sides of the road on Caprington Avenue from the roundabout
No waiting restriction for 15 meters on Caprington Avenue from the roundabout to number 38
No waiting restriction for 10 meters on Caprington Avenue at the roundabout
No waiting restriction for 25 meters both sides of the road on Loreny Drive from the roundabout for number 122.
Nature and period of restriction - Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time
This Notice commences on 30 March 2023 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 30 March 2023 at 09:30 with the restrictions removed by 18:00 later that same day.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Notice will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
