Emergency Notice 2023
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, that the following Traffic Management restrictions be introduced with immediate effect for emergency Scottish Power Works
Road Closure – Dean Lane, Kilmarnock, Town Centre, Dean Lane, closed East Bound approaching from South Bound on Deans Road and East Bound from Witch Road. .
Period of restriction – The Notice is valid for a period of up to 21 days from the date below unless a further notice is issued under Section 15(8)(b)(ii) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The restrictions will only be in force at times when the appropriate signs are displayed. Access to properties and premises will be maintained whenever possible and emergency services and pedestrian access will not be affected.
Alternative route – will be signed via Witch Road > Hill Street > Wellington Street. Any traffic that miss diversion signs go left onto Dean Road, left onto Western Road then left onto Hill Street then right onto Hill Street. .
