THE FALKIRK COUNCIL
(LAURIESTON ROAD, GRANGEMOUTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION ON USE OF A ROAD) ORDER 2012
Falkirk Council has made the above named Order under Section 14(1) and (4) as read with Section 2(1) of the Roads Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 18 February 2012.
The effect of this Order shall be to temporarily prohibit the use of vehicles on the length of Road identified in the Schedule to this Notice during the period from 18 February 2012 till 10 March 2012 or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner. The temporary restriction of vehicles is considered necessary to facilitate works being carried out on Laurieston Road, Grangemouth, but will only have effect in relation to such part of parts of the lengths of road as are indicated by the appropriate traffic signs and during the periods corresponding to those lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this notice.
A copy of the order, together with a copy of the relative plan may be examined at Abbotsford House, Davids Loan, Falkirk and at the One-Stop Shop, Callendar Square, Falkirk, during normal office hours, free of charge.

To Temporarily close Laurieston Road, Grangemouth from Saturday 18 February 2012 for 3 weeks between Evans Halshaw and Thornbridge Yard.
The road will be closed in two sections – between Evans Halshaw and Thornbridge Business Centre for the first two weeks and then between Thornbridge Business Centre and Thornbridge Yard for the third week.
Works within these sections will be phased to maintain access to adjacent premises. Alternative Route Traffic will be diverted via A904 Falkirk Road, A9 Laurieston Bypass, Icehouse Brae (North) and vice versa. |
