On 16/2/22 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prohibit all motor vehicles driving and/or parking and/or waiting at Newhill Primary School and St Stephen’s RC Primary School, Blairgowrie as detailed in the table below under the exception of cycles or those issued with a permit who are permitted to wait, load and/or unload.

This applies from 25/2/22 as the Council, acting as Traffic Authority, is satisfied that there is a requirement to implement a School Exclusion Zone to assist with physical distancing and increase road safety around Newhill Primary School and St. Stephen's RC Primary School. These restrictions on the above sections of road will be in place for a maximum duration in terms of the Act of 18 months.
