On 25/4/23 the Council made Orders under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 for the purpose of permitting parades/marches and events on the following dates and locations. The Orders will temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic and all park and loading on both sides of the following lengths of road:- (1) 6/5/23 – Coronation Street Party: The Nurseries, St Madoes; (2) 6/5/23 – Coronation Street Party: Nursery Terrace, Perth; (3) 8/5/23 - Coronation Street Party: South St John’s Place & Kirkside, Perth; (4) 27/5/23 – Blackford Highland Games: Stirling Street – B8081 Moray Street, Blackford; (5) 3/6/23 - Apprentice Boys of Derry: Tulloch Road – Crieff Road – Dunkeld Road – Barrack Street – Atholl Street – North Methven Street – South Methven Street – High Street – Tay Street, Perth; (6) 3/6/23 – Dunning Village Market and Fair (suspension of parking and loading only): Station Road from the School to Circus Street, Dunning; (7) 10/6/23 – Perth Mela Parade: Old High Street – High Street - Tay Street – Charlotte Street – Atholl Street – Rose Terrace, Perth; (8) 24/6/23 – Donald Cargill Memorial: A926 High Street – A93 Boat Brae – A923 Wellmeadow, Blairgowrie; (9) 24/6/23 – St Andrew True Blues: Tulloch Road – Crieff Road – Dunkeld Road – Barrack Street – Atholl Street – North Methven Street – South Methven Street – Mill Street – Kinnoull Street – South Street - Tay Street, Perth; and (10) 6/8/23 – City of Perth Salute: Old High Street – High Street - Tay Street – Charlotte Street – Atholl Street – Rose Terrace, Perth. The alternative route for vehicles is via:- local diversions for each location. Pedestrian thoroughfare and emergency access will be maintained.
