The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that, because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads, no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven or cause or permit any vehicle (except works vehicles) to wait or load on the following length of road in the town of Johnstone in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire:
Houstoun Square, from Church Street to William Street.
Reason for Restriction: Christmas Lights Switch On.
Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the works area. Emergency access will be maintained.
Alternative Routes: Church Street, Quarry Street, William Street.
This notice will be in force from 0700 hours till 1900 hours on Saturday, 3rd December 2022. This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.
