TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
Dimity Street, Johnstone
The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that, because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads, no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven or cause or permit any vehicle (except works vehicles) to wait or load on the following length of road in the town of Johnstone in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire:
Dimity Street from High Street southwards for approx. 40m.
Reason for Restriction: Installation of zebra crossing.
Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the works area.
Alternative Routes: Canal Street, Canal Avenue, Woodbank Crescent, Dimity Street, Campbell Street, Quarry Street, MacDowall Street, High Street and vice versa.
This notice will be in force from Monday 27th March 2023 until Friday 31st March 2023.
This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.
