The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that, because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads, no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven or cause or permit any vehicle (except works vehicles) to wait or load on the following length of road in the town of Paisley in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire:
Underwood Road, Paisley outside no.51.
Reason for Restriction: Emergency sewer works.
Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the works area.
Alternative Routes: Gallow Green Road – Maxwellton Street – Canal Steet – Gordon Street – Mill Street – Incle Street – Weir Street – Old Sneddon Street – St James’ Street – Underwood Road
or St James’ Street – Niddry Street – Renfrew Road – Incle Street – Mill Street – Gordon Street – Canal Street – Gallow Green Road.
This notice will be in force from 1800hours today Friday 24th March 2023 until 0600hours on Monday 27th March 2023.
This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.
