The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that, because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads, no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven or cause or permit any vehicle (except works vehicles) to wait or load on the following length of road in the town of Bridge of Weir in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire:
Main Street, Bridge of Weir at its junction with Mill Brae
Alternative Routes: Barrochan Road, Johnstone – Houston Road, Crosslee – Bridge of Weir Road, Houston – Houston Road, Bridge of Weir – Main Street, Bridge of Weir or vice versa.
This closure will be in place from Wednesday 6th September 2023 until Wednesday 13th September 2023.
Mill Brae, Bridge of Weir in its entirety.
Alternative Routes: n/a
This closure will be in place from Monday 26th June 2023 until Friday 1st December 2023.
Prohibition of Waiting & Loading:
Main Street, Bridge of Weir from no.1 to Church Manse Lane (both sides)
This restriction will be in force from Monday 9th October 2023 until Friday 15th December 2023.
Reason for Restrictions: Scottish Water Works.
Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the works area.
This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.
