(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2023

The Scottish Borders Council (Duke Street, Hawick) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2023 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 06:00 on 13 March 2023 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 7 April 2023 – 24 hour restriction. The Order is required for Hawick Flood Protection Scheme works.

When the Order comes into effect:

1. no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on the south side of Duke Street from Mart Street to Earl Street; and
2. a One Way Order in an easterly direction will be in force on Duke Street, Hawick from Mart Street to Noble Place. No person shall drive in a westerly direction.
