ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE

MANSFIELD FOOTBRIDGE, HAWICK

In accordance with Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Scottish Borders Council will temporarily close Mansfield Footbridge, Hawick from Duke Street to Mansfield Road. The maximum duration of this Notice is 21 days and it is expected that the closure will be in effect from 08:00 on 31 May 2023 to 18:00 on 2 June 2023 – 24 hour closure.

The closure is required for on-going Hawick Flood Protection Scheme works.

The alternative northbound pedestrian route is via Duke Street, Mart Street and Mansfield Road to the point of closure, the southbound pedestrian route is the reverse of the foregoing
