(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2023

The Scottish Borders Council (B6470 East of Swinton) (Temporary Closing) Order 2023 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 5 June 2023 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 6 June 2023. The Order is required for drainage works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B6470 East of Swinton.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the B6470, A6112, B6461 and B6437 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
