(Temporary Road Closure) Notice 2023
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will close the following lengths of road to allow Bridge Inspection Works on behalf of Network Rail
Name of road - Mill Street , from 35 meters.
Nature and period of restriction - Road closure
This Notice commences on 29 June 2023 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 29 June 2023 at 22:00 with the closure remaining in place until 30 June 2023 at 06:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the restrictions will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed. Emergency Services access and access for residents will be via diversion route
Alternative route - Signed via the Diversion 1- Smith Street , Station Bridge , Holmston Road , Station Road
Diversion 2 - Station Road Holmston Road , Station Bridge , Parkhouse Street ,Kinloch Place , Alloway Street, Kyle Street, Smith Street.
