The STIRLING COUNCIL propose to make an Order under Sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3), 4(1) and (2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) which will introduce waiting restrictions as detailed in the Summary Schedule hereto.
FULL DETAILS of this proposal are contained in the draft Order, which, together with a copy of the relative plans and a Statement of the Council's Reasons for promoting the Order, may be examined free of charge at the Stirling Council's Offices, Roads, Transport and Open Space, Viewforth, Stirling (Room 315) during normal office hours from 20 July 2011.
Any person wishing to object to the proposals should send details of the grounds for objection, in writing, to the undersigned by 10 August 2011 quoting reference number TM/6 - SRO/2011(16).

SUMMARY SCHEDULE This Order proposes to increase the waiting time on the top section of Fountain Road and Henderson Street (between the Fountain Road junction and the Blairforkie Drive junction) from 20 minutes to 30 minutes (return prohibited within 60 minutes) 8am to 6pm, Monday-Saturday (inc.). A new section of parking will also be introduced on Henderson Street between Blairforkie Drive and the Allan Water Café. This will also be limited to a maximum waiting time of 30 minutes. It is also proposed to limit waiting to 30 minutes in the lay-by at the bottom of Well Road. A new disabled bay will also be introduced opposite the Allan Water Café. It is also proposed to reduce the length of the double yellow lines on Blairforkie Drive and introduce a new section of double yellow lines on Well Road (adjacent to nos. 3-9 Well Road), Inverallan Road (between Henderson Street and The Bridge Inn) and on Castleview Drive in the vicinity of the play park. The double yellow lines on Station Road will also be amended.
